FAQ

Questions before take-off

Does it apply to jobs for me?

No, never. It finds, scores, drafts and fills. Submitting is always your click, after you've checked the form.

Which jobs does it cover?

Any role, across Europe. It starts from a shared list of employers' own job pages, checked daily and growing in every field, plus job boards. You choose your roles and places; a search only shows jobs that match them. See the numbers.

Do I need Notion or any other account?

No. Your jobs and applications stay in the app on your computer. Notion, Gmail, Telegram and GitHub are optional extras you can connect later.

What does the AI cost?

Free AI is included at no cost, within the free allowance. If you add your own Claude or ChatGPT key, the cost goes to you directly and you can see it: each run shows what it cost, and a monthly budget you set caps it.

Is it really free? What happens after the free period?

Free for your first 20 applications or your first 60 days, whichever lasts longer. After that the app pauses only new work (preparing kits, filling forms, searching); tracking, export and your data keep working, and it never stops in the middle of an application. Pro, coming soon, is a one-time payment that removes the limit.

What will Pro cost?

$29 once, no subscription, with a $19 launch price for early adopters (coming soon). It removes the application limit and includes $5 of our AI; top up with $5, $10 or $20 if you search heavily, or use your own Claude or ChatGPT key, which is unlimited. 14-day refund, any reason. Mac, Windows or Linux?

Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) and Windows 10 or 11 (x64, beta). Neither is signed yet, so your computer asks once before opening it. Filling forms works in Chrome and Edge. Linux: run it from the source. All supported platforms.

What happens to my CV?

It stays on your computer. The AI reads it to draft your profile (which you review) and, when you ask, to make a version tailored to one job; you see every change before it's used. Nothing is stored on a Jobadabra server.

Can I add my own employers?

Yes. Add any company on the Employers page and it is checked with the shared list, or turn on your own scout to find more. Your list stays yours and is never uploaded. By default the app shares which employers' job pages it reads, to help the shared list grow; you can switch that off in Settings (details).

Does it work with LinkedIn?

It doesn't read or post on LinkedIn, but you can paste or screenshot a recruiter's conversation and it is tracked. Most roles you'd find there are also on the employer's own job page, which is where it looks and where you apply.

How is it different from other job tools?

It does the whole search, not one step: finds and scores jobs, drafts each form's answers, tailors your CV, fills the form and tracks replies, with your data on your computer. It never mass-applies. See the side-by-side comparison.

Can I run it myself for free?

Yes. The source code is public: you can run it from source. The apps are free to start too.
